If you haven’t already heard, Microsoft support for both Windows 7 and Server 2008/R2 has ended.
What does this mean?
- Anything running Windows 7 or Server 2008/R2 will no longer receive any security updates
- Your devices are more vulnerable to security risks and viruses
What can we do?
- Upgrade your Windows 7 devices to Windows 10
- Replace your hardware running Windows 7 to something new running Windows 10 if upgrading is not an option
- Migrate your 2008/R2 servers to Azure for extended support
- Upgrade your 2008/R2 servers to a later Operating System (2012/2016/2019)
- Build replacement servers and migrate your applications and workloads to the new supported operating systems
That’s a big job, can you help?
- Absolutely! Get in touch and we will be happy to discuss your requirements, absolutely no obligation, just a friendly professional service
