Dan has worked in End User Computing (EUC) for over 25 years. Dan’s background in Application Management and delivery go back to the days when Citrix DaaS was Winframe and Microsoft AppV was Softgrid. Dan understands the importance of giving users the best day to day experience they can have – delivering the correct up-to-date applications for their job that perform well and are correctly configured.

Today, as well as improving the user experience, Application Management is just as much about being secure against cyber-threats. It doesn’t matter if you use Windows 10/11, Citrix or Horizon desktops, Dan is on a mission to provide businesses with a simple and consistent application packaging and delivery process that keeps everything up to date, not only to give users a feature rich experience, but to protect as much as possible against malware, ransomware and other vulnerabilities.

Our datacentres are powered by renewable energy allowing us to drastically reduce the impact on carbon emissions that is created by heating and cooling these systems compared with inefficient datacentres.

With these technologies we can work from anywhere on any device while consolidating the bulk of our power requirements into our “green” datacentres.

Extending the lifecycle of our computer hardware.
We purchase low-energy hardware specifically for user endpoint devices. These devices run IGEL OS to minimise the power requirements and access our VDI technologies in the datacentres. Due to the light duties required on the endpoint (and fewer components) we typically see devices continue to operate for 5+ years.

Workspace IT is proud to partner with Sun Screen IT on their mission to end e-waste and promote ethical IT asset disposal.
